Your AI team lives on your computer

One coordinator, a whole AI team, all on your computer.

Universe Bot turns AI agents into contacts in a chat app. Tell the coordinator what you need and it hands the work to teammates. They message each other and report back, you see every step, and you can jump in at any time. It runs on the Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini account you already signed in to, or on an API key of your own.

Free during the beta. Model costs depend on the services you use (your subscription quota or your API bill).

Coordinator
We launch next week. Compare shipping carriers, write a shipping script, and draft the announcement.
On it. I split this into three jobs: the researcher compares carriers, the coder writes the shipping script, and the writer drafts the announcement.
The researcher already reported back: the carrier comparison is in the researcher’s thread.

This is a simulation; the replies are pre-written.

What it does

  • Every agent is its own person

Name, avatar, personality, rules and memory are set per agent. Your sales assistant and your coding assistant no longer share one cramped chat.

  • Every agent picks its own model

Send small chores to a cheap model and hard problems to a strong one. Mix Claude, ChatGPT (Codex) and Gemini subscriptions with OpenAI-compatible API keys.

  • Delegating is just messaging

The coordinator messages work to teammates instead of waiting on them. Several teammates can work at once and report back when done, and you can read every message.

  • See the usage, clear the session

Each agent has its own usage panel. When a chat gets long or expensive, press Clear session. Memory, personality and rules stay put.

  • Routines

Hand out work automatically every day, week or month. If your computer was off at the time, the most recent missed run catches up when it is back on.

  • Browses for you, hands over when stuck

An agent can open its own browser to research and operate websites. When a sign-in or verification step needs a human, it asks you to take over and continues after you.

  • Talk to the coordinator from your phone

Send messages and photos to the coordinator over Telegram or iMessage. It is the same conversation you see on the desktop.

  • You decide the permissions

Each agent has one of four permission levels, from chat only to reading and writing the work folder. Web search can only be turned on by you, on screen.

How it works

Three steps to get going.

  1. Install Universe Bot and sign in to an AI account you already have: Claude, ChatGPT or a Google account. One is enough to start, or use an API key of your own.
  2. Tell the coordinator what you want: it does what it can itself and creates or reuses teammates for anything that needs a specialist.
  3. Watch the team work and step in any time: every agent's chats, delegations and usage are on screen. Turn recurring work into routines.

Ways to use it

  • Morning news digest

    Every day at 08:30 (routine)

A researcher with web search allowed checks news in your industry and sends the coordinator a short list of highlights.

  • Weekly report draft

    Fridays at 17:00

The coordinator asks each teammate what they handled this week and assembles a draft report.

  • Month-end file cleanup

    Last day of the month

A teammate with read and write access to the workspace tidies the shared work folder, archives this month's files and lists them.

  • Delegate while you are out

    Any time, from your phone

Send a message or photo to the coordinator on Telegram or iMessage, then pick up where you left off on the desktop.

  • Coding project helper

    When you ask

A coding teammate reads code, edits files and runs tests in the work folder, then reports the results to the coordinator.

  • Routine website tasks

    Daily or weekly

A teammate with browser access signs in to the sites you choose to look things up. A captcha or sign-in prompt turns into a take-over card for you.

  • Copywriting and translation

    When you ask

A cheap model translates, a stronger model reviews, and the coordinator hands you the cleaned-up result.

  • Save quota on small stuff

    Any time

Send low-stakes lookups to a free model on your own API key and keep your subscription for the work that matters.
